Ocean to Woods was born from a journey—both inward and across state lines. Stephanie first found her voice behind the lens along the windswept shores of Long Island, NY, where the ocean spoke in soft blues and golden light. Now rooted in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, her work echoes the rhythm of two landscapes: the salty breath of the sea and the quiet whisper of southern woods.
The name Ocean to Woods carries more than geography. It’s a piece of family history, passed down like a well-loved photograph - her grandparents' email for many years, a quiet nod to movement, memory, and meaning. It feels right. It feels like home.
